I think i'd prefer it if Relic stuck to RTS' and where the buggering hell is Homeworld 3!

Homeworld the 3rd

A minute search on Google would show you that Homeworld 3 will not be a possibility for the foreseable future. In fact, I don't think it will ever be created, unfortunately. It's all to do with who owns the rights. I'd link it, but then you'd never learn. So Google it!

Also, on the game - not too bothered. Huge interest in the brand, but after DoWII I don't think I can love Relic as I once did. Will keep watch, though. Cross my fingers the Space Marine protagonist shows Master Chief who the real, err... Space Marine is.

I'm quite a big fan of the 40k universe, so I've had my eye on this one. But anyone else think that's it's going to end up too much like a first-person Gears of War? No saying that's a bad thing but the "like Gears of War but..." games rarely end up quite as good.

my only beef with it is that they've chosen the sodding ultramarines, Every other chapter of space amrines is infinitly more interesting then those glorified storm troopers!

YAWN!!!!!!!!!! I want Aliens: Colonial Marines, then I will truly be happy with the 360. I have my Aliens vs. Predator (not the best game, but I still love it) now all I need is A:CM and I am good to go.

Also, in case you missed it, Here is the video footage of the game running that was leaked almost 18 months ago.
But Master, does not the fire need water too? (Heh-heh)
Does not the mountain need the storm?
Does not your scrotum need kicking?

Think the game has changed a lot since that leaked footage. This is a game I’m really looking forward too.
I hope its is abit like gears of war but with a decent melee system, since close combat is so important to the universe, plus has to be bloody so can't be a kids game. Plus the shooting can't be neglected; space marines are just as good at range as in hand to hand.

Looks good and I am interested in what the RPG elements are.

On the chapter choice of Ultramarines, I would have prefered Dark Angels or Blood Angels or Space Wolves but any chapter is good because the W40k lore is just devastating
