Aliens vs Predator tops Steam chart

Postby Dandelion » 24 Feb 2010, 00:29

I ended up uninstalling it after completing both the Alien and Predator campaigns (which were short btw). The game itself was good, specially the graphics and the melee combat, but I couldn't get the sound to work properly, I tried everything... drivers, DX, changing the sample rate, compatibility modes and I coulnd't get the DX11 version to work, I had to run the DX9 one but it didn't have dialogs or music so I hope they fix it soon and then I'll install it again.

Guess to play good games you have to buy old ones, otherwise you're stuck to dogdy ports.

Care to give some recent examples?

I'll start:

Most of those games are overpriced on Steam. :|
