Postby kimoak » 15 Jan 2010, 14:37

Please, CVG. Don't use the word 'Reboot' again. Thankyou.
Optimus Prime: I want you to go in that bag, and find my wallet.
Megatron: Which one is it?
Optimus Prime: It's the one that says Bad motherf**ker

''Please, CVG. Don't use the word 'Reboot' again. Thankyou.''

Why do you think that?
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

We can't go a day without Hollywood announcing another movie reboot. Latest being Spiderman(Absolutely nuts as the current cycle of movies were still in production) 'Rebooting' is the in thing at the moment in Hollywood. I am just sick of the word now :)

Seconded. Also, if I see one more person spelling Spider-Man without the hyphen, I am going to freak.

hold on, Ubisoft Shanghai??? The people who made SC: Pandora Tomorrow and Double Agent?? The people who took what Ubisoft Montreal built, with the original SC and Chaos Theory, and then trampled over it??

Then again who knows, as EA shows, theres always room in this industry for redemption.

If you consider the "SC: DA" game "trampled", then one can only marvel at what a "good" result would look like. Personal tastes aside that is.

I read a short preview of this game, tucked away in a remote, dark corner of GR. I liked the look of it - I mean, how many apocalypse games are there circulating the game world? . Unfortunately, I seemed to be the only person excited for it...and then, everything went silent.

I'll second that. This word should be reserved for when MMO games need to have their servers reset.

Spelling nazi's need to get over themselves. Honestly, have you got nothing better to do than check the grammar or spelling of people? Who honestly gives a flying one if it's Spiderman or Spider-Man? Does the lack of the correct grammar confuse you? If it does you've got bigger problems than people not using appropriate hyphens. As for your disdain of the word 'reboot'? Get over it - language evolves, it grows it changes and I love that about it. Moving on...

Rebooting something that is not working any more, be it a movie or a game is sometimes the only option.

I'd rather have a product which has been through rigorous quality control than another game shat out by a system unwilling to go back to the drawing board because of costs.

How many of you wish that Too Human had been rebooted before release? How about Damnation? Onechanbara? Better rebooted than terrible.
