Peter Molyneux: 2010 will be gaming's biggest year

I agree, this could be a year when there is at least one must-have game released. Winter will be ridiculously crammed as usual though. :(

Very good Mr. Molyneux. Now, could I please have another "Syndicate" game? Thanks.

I think it could be - there's certainly plenty of high-quality titles on the horizon and that's before we get the Wand and Natal.

Personally, I can't wait to hear a little more about Arkham Asylum 2 and get the final verdicts on Red Dead Redemption - those 2 alone could well make my year.

There is another Syndicate in production, but the license is owned by EA (as it was a Bullfrog IP) - so it won't have anything to do with Lionhead or Molyneux.

I think he might be right.

Ive been trying to think of previous years where there were as many Games that I wanted pretty much on Day 1. I failed to think of any year that contained so many 'must have' Games.

Not even thinking about the Motion games that will no doubt start to appear on all consoles this year but the core games are absolutely outstanding!

How much do you get for a liver in pretty good condition these days  ?

I'm not sure, but I might need some new lungs. I do like a smoke when I play games!

My lungs are charred black with my smoking, still my smoking always seem to improve my Gaming experience  .

'...will be the biggest year ever - blah blah'

most generic and cliche`d comment ever.

its only purpose is to get some spotlight.

f**k off pete.

That's a bit cynical for you SVD!

It is a clich├ęd comment, and he may of said it any year. I do have a feeling it will be a bumper year though. Certainly a bumper Jan/Feb.

Bayonetta has kicked it off in a better way than I ever thought it would.

2010 will be a golden age and it will be nothing to do with you Peter. We have Sony exclusives to thank for most of the goodness.

You and Natal and Fable are all over hyped and will all under deliver.

Peter, do shut up. Go and make a Fable that isn't glitchy, rushed, unambitious or short as hell and then I may listen to something you have to say.

Peter: Come and buy my lovely igloo, it's snug as you like.

Consumer: But it's an icecube

Peter: Begone blasphemer, you are but a worthless scrot in the eyes of my substantial forehead.

Consumer: As in your eyes?

Peter: Erm, yes....can we still be friends?
