lol "A polished and exciting experience huh Connor?" One of those adjectives is kind of accurate, the other isn't at all.

Holy hell that trailer is just a-m-a-z-I-n-g! Naughty dog, I think I love you

And going up against the GTAV release window?? Either very brave or very stupid

Just in-time for my birthday! :D

I was worried they might clash earlier in the year, but if they're both in May then I can actually afford both.

Very stupid imo, but I'll be getting both at launch. I get a feeling that TLoU will become my favourite PS3 exclusive.

The Last of Us will redefine "gaming" as we know it. Period.

Would have been priceless to see a horse glitching out in the background. He's done well to score the nomination. I gave his character the benefit of the doubt but by the end of it he really did seem like a plank of wood compared to Ezio.

As for The Last Of Us, it looks to be shaping up as a brilliant game.

This is looking amazing, nice to see the mutated again.

My only worry is when this was first revealed The Walking Dead game didn't exist, it's going to have to do something special to top that.

Looks great but I'm still sceptical - its all about gameplay, hopefully its not the same rinse repeat play of uncharted.

They have to nail gameplay, pretty graphics and great cinematography isn't enough.

I'm a big fan of the Walking Dead and Uncharted so even if it is similar I will be a happy man

Saying that I thought the Samuel Jackson Halo Hologram was more entertaining than that the trailer.

Redefine gaming is a little hasty isn't it? I'd sooner settle for a 10/10 review from CVG

I'm a little curious too, its a very ambitious statement.

Agreed that my comment is a tad "ambitious", but that adjective applies precisely to Naughty Dog too.
They are going to push-the-boundaries in terms of story-telling and narrative and I know that in the future we will lokk at this game as the moment when gameplay, narrative, story-telling and entertainment all collided to form The Last of Us.
I sense that we will look back at this game and try to define a "genre" for it - like an amalgamation of reading a book, playing a game and watching a movie - all at once. It is good to be ambitious yeah. :D

I agree that it looks like it'll have a very strong narrative, but it's nothing that hasn't been done before. Obviously it's all down to personal preference, but in my opinion there have already been several games to combine strong narrative with compelling gameplay (MGS, Red Dead Redemption). I've seen nothing in terms of gameplay that hasn't been done before either. Naughty Dog are simply doing what they do best- creating a ridiculously polished blockbuster video game. Nothing more. I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm for the game, but I highly doubt it'll redefine gaming in any way.
