Ha.Trust IGN to go over the top.MP is all well and good, but the SP campaign should be top priority too.

Does it matter what review scores it gets? It's still going to sell by the bucket load, due to all the sheep happily funding Activision's pockets, much like all the blind iPhone followers.

Games like CoD and Fifa should be every 2 years, with a cut price downloadable add-on in the non full retail release years. People might then get more than 12 months use out of a game, whilst cutting costs to developers and consumers.

Personally my review score would be closer to IGN's score. Black Ops 2 is by far much better than MW3. Treyarch have really tried to address all the things we disliked from previous games and improved the things we did like. Just for starters, there are NO more Death Streaks!! Ghost isn't unlocked until level 55 (one of the last unlocks) AND only works if you keep moving. The score streak rewards are now based on in-game performance and rewards objective based players. This means that those that play the objective benefit more than those that play a slaying/camping type of game. Just these few changes have made this a much better game than previous titles!

Based on review score, you would think that Black Ops 2 is a worse game than MW3 BUT the reality is that BO2 is by far the better game. Zombies too has been expanded and overhauled. Whilst it still feels like Zombies from Black Ops, there is a lot more to it. If Black Ops Zombies is a 9/10 review then BO2 Zombies would be a 9.5/10. The same goes for the MP. I haven't bought many games this year but this certainly is the best game I have bought. I have bought games like Max Payne 3, Mass Effect 3, the Witcher 2, GRFS, Lego Batman 2 to name a few but all of these do not have the same appeal across all aspects. In fact the majority of games are strong in one area - Campaign or MP - rarely both! However Black Ops 2 is strong in more than one area. MP is the best of the series, Zombies is bigger than before but is still just as much (if not more) fun and the campaign has tried something 'new'. Whilst the campaign may not be as strong as previous (I am yet to play it) the concept at least sounds refreshing and I am looking forward to seeing how my decisions actually affect the story line. The only way to do this is by playing through at least twice! No other CoD game has ever attempted this!

We asked for these changes - particularly the Campaign. It seems that having now got these changes, the game is now worse than MW3!! The only thing that MW3 did better was the Kill Streak system (however that had a lot of flaws). BO2 Score Streaks revert back to the BO (and previous games) idea that these are selected independently from the class and once selected not changeable until the pre-game lobby. There is also NO specialist system but also no (ridiculous) support either and also reset on dying. Score streaks are deadly and you cannot just run up to turrets and knife them anymore too. they also seem to last a while but you do have to earn them. MW3 was really annoying - After earning a decent kill streak it was taken out far too easily! Knifing is much better in BO2 now. You no longer lunge across the map and really do have to be quite close to get the kill. Panic knifing is therefore still possible BUT certainly not as effective.

Reviews like these could make the developers of CoD think that the changes implemented are NOT working and revert back to MW3 format as that obtained higher scores. However the reality is that BO2 is by far the better game in so many ways!

I hate these sheep comments. Stop being such a cool hipster - ''ooh look at me, I'm an individual! Apple are so lame and call of duty is rubbish. I'm more into vegan parties with my new age friends." Do you wear glasses with no lenses in?

If people like a product, let them buy it and keep your comments to yourself

Oh boo hoo…. If you don't like my comment, then don't read it. It's my opinion, yet you chose to quote it, so people get to read it twice.

It's not really opinion, just a flippant comment and a ridiculous generalisation.

I can't see why people get upset by people using ghost. In order for it to be effective, you have to use a silencer, reducing bullet damage. It's also useless again a blackbird, which can't be shot down. The only people who need to worry about ghost users are campers. If you get moving and watch corners, ghost is not a problem. Juggernaut, from 4 however, is a different matter.

CVG lowest score  what is this, a credibility booster?

this looks easily the worst COD of the series. i generally get them all at some stage, but i'm not even remotely interested in this gash.

bobby will be round the now to crack some heads at CVG central.
