Half-Life 3

Or Team Fortress 3.

Got a twitch in my nuts then.... There is only one game they can be making it for!

HL2 was amazing on the new engine at the time so if this engine is better then I can not wait for HL3

Half-Life 2 showed off Source. So i'm guessing Half-Life 3 will do the same for Source 2.
I wonder what console generation it is developed for though. The current generation or the next generation of consoles just around the corner. Obviously PC will come first but we already know current PCs are light years ahead of the current generation of console.

I think Vampire Bloodlines was released at the same time as HL2, maybe it's a sequel despite the developers not existing...

I guessed they would do this ages ago, the obvious game choice would be Half Life 3, second? it's possible it could be Counterstrike afterward since CSGO isn't considered a follow up in a way.

I hope this means they are making the engine better with physics and dynamic environments, that would make a game like L4D3 be able to have much more random environment changes.

Soon as such a game is announced i'll be ready to upgrade. Hopefully they aren't waiting for next gen consoles to release before they bring it to PC, they could bring it to pc and just downscale it again for consoles when they come out anyway.

Bloodline used an unfinished version of Source. I loved what SiN Episodes: Emergence did with the engine, different materials on enemies and exploding jetpacks, such a shame there was never at least a second episode despite it mostly being finished.
