..old friends but new mods.

Izo, Stonecold and dwhlufc who all performed the dreaded spanking run of doom and have proven their worthiness to wear the mod tiara of prettiness.

Welcome guys :)

I told Bosk the spanking was unnecessary but he just ignored me...

Good job we've got new mods, this place was going out of control!

Seriously, why?

EDIT - Oh actually, are you lot retiring? Makes sense, God knows why you would do that for no money. I suppose it takes a special kind of ultra traffic warden type personality to do that for nothing. I guess no one could be that sad/power hungry for that long. :P

Oh, over on the PSM3 forum the old mod left and we voted for a new one (Scotch), but he hasn't actually been made mod yet. Anything you can do?

Me? Chris W left like a year ago didn't he?

Thinking about this there's like a mod for every regular here now.

Bosker
Balladeer
CSDave
Normal Dave
Izo
Stone Cold
Kmkwawa
Roy

That's a hell of a lot of moderators.

I used to be a mod on a forum and I was the best mod ever, I saved it and turned it into one of the best forums ever, a shining beacon of truth, fairness and intelligent yet fun conversation on the internet. But then I got greedy with the power and vanished without a trace before the dark urges could take over.

I've vowed never to attain that kind of power again unless the world is in choas and the forum is facing dark, evil times. Only when there is no other option will I once again wield the power that is truly coursing through my veins, for I fear what may happen to me if I over indulge in the glory.

One day CVG, you will be mine!

Cheeky cow ;)

Well, there were a few users with mods status that haven't been here for ages so while clearing that up we thought bringing some more guys in who are well liked and extend what we can do, can only be a good thing.

Izo is well argued, well respected and well researched. He has long been seen one of the oldest and most solid users here and having him on the team can only be positive. Unless he goes mental, then we're allowed to shoot him with a tranquillising dart and release him back into the wild.

Stonecold, as you know, could probably be credited with keeping the forums on a certain wavelength with his calm and positive attitude especially through a pretty dark part of the forums. He might have an avatar of a dude with a pixelated willy, but then, maybe that's just me?

dwhlufc is an all round good chap, long standing forumite and while it might seem secondary, is a Sony PS3 veteran and as anyone who has been here for a few years knows, this place has been the badlands so to speak. Having a fine upstanding member (chortle) displaying the green badge of madness such as Dwuh (sorry mate, but I've always seen your username like that :)) then I hope that does some way to building a few bridges we think CVG could well do with.

@ Doug = link me the topic if there is one and we'll see what we can do. Might as well keep the admin busy, eh? ;)

Surprisingly hard to let go of these powers. :P I do plan to quit when I get a job, though.

Yeah, I've thought about it several times when things have gotten hairy but it gets into your posting routine, I think.
