I want but I doubt I'll afford these, especially the Q1'releases:

Ni No Kuni - doubtful at the moment

MGR - waiting for a price drop

GoW Ascension - guaranteed on day 1

Tomb Raider - maybe

Bio shock - doubtful

GTA5 - guaranteed

As it stands right now:

Pre-orders: Bioshock Infinite, GTA V, Last of Us plus Watch_Dogs and Disney Infinity (if these two are ready for 2013).

Price drops: Everything else.

The only one I've actually preordered is Rayman on the Wii U. I'll definitely be getting Anarchy Reigns and hopefully Platinum will work their magic on Revengeance.

GTAV and Pikmin are definites. Am waiting to see what new stuff Lego City brings, and maybe Monster Hunter (my mate loves it and wants to co-op). I'm expecting big things of W101 and Bayonetta, but there's no way the latter will be Q1 and we've heard nothing about W101's release date and I reckon we won't see Bayonetta until Autumn at the earliest. Platinum are pretty small and they're still working on MGR and W101, and I'd rather wait for them to perfect it and Kamiya's not doing this one, I think.

Bioshock is a wait and see, then I've got Sleeping Dogs, Hitman and Halo 4 to catch up on and some other bits!

I think I've only preordered 3 games this year, I've waited ages for the rest. However next year will be a different story, it's going to be amazing.

The priority games for me and of which I've already ordered are:

Ni No Kuni
Beyond
The last of Us
GTA V

I personally think all 4 of those games are going to be the biggest highlights of this gen.

I don't really pre-order games any more. Maybe for a really important release, such as a new Pokémon, where there's a slight danger of them selling out; otherwise I just buy online, or wander over to a store.

By the way, is it just me or does the original post seem like Alan's just rubbing the fact that he has all of the machines in our faces, the jammy bastard?

@ Balla More that he has more money than sense if you ask me, and awful taste in games. Of his list only Pikmin interests me. A few of the shorter lists have more games I'm interested in. I won't preorder anything at the moment with my precarious employment situation but I will get Star Wars 1313, Pikmin 3, GoW Ascencion at release. Everything else is as and when I can afford them.

Deffo getting new Bioshock and new Metro game, new Crysis when it's cheap unless it's great and the multiplayer and that new mode were one guy is invisible and has to kill everyone turns out to be awesome.

Surprised at all the love for Ni No Kuni. Looks like just some Jap s**t. Now granted I'm not sure what it is, but sometimes the name is enough.

I think alot if the love stems from Ghibli's involvement.

Wait, Studio Ghibli? My my, that is intriguing. Are they just doing the art or what?
