I distrust patriotism; the reasonable man can find little in these days that is worth dying for. But dying against - there's enough iniquity in Europe to carry the most urbane or decadent into battle.

The colossus level has been the best one for me so far.

I don't like those strike team ones much though, the boat one was a bit of a headache.
Here's a lockpick, now jog on.

I can't connect for two hours now, I shouldn't have had a coffee so late.

I don't know if it's just luck or if this is the average CoD on 360 experience but I haven't been disconnected even once yet with Blops 2.

Had my first Strikeforce mission tonight, got destroyed in my first attempt, in my second attempt I managed to scrape my way to victory in the final minute. Calling it hectic doesn't quite cut it.

Just finished it, pretty good but a bit short and easy. Don't know if I liked those strike force missions, I was playing on vet and couldn't manage India or Iran but the rest were remarkable easy, even easier than the campaign. I'll have to play it through again and see how different the story can be.

As with sonar, the big problem with detection is interpreting the returning signals.

f**k me, this game is worse than MW2 for the amount of s**t that rains down from the skies whenever you spawn. You can't unlock the s**t to protect you for ages and people still seem implausibly able to get these rewards instantly and constantly. I can barely shoot straight with this lag compensation nonsense. FFS, why does Activision not give a s**t? Why do the reviewers NEVER mention or address these problems.

Why are you still buying games? In all seriousness I've played about 40 games so far and one thing I've noticed is the lack of stuff in the sky and how easy they are to shoot down.

Has anyone been playing that mult-Team mode? It's brilliant, its a rotation of 3 different game modes, team death match, Kill confirmed and Hard point.

Haven't played the multi team mode, I forgot it was there actually there to be honest, but I just wanted to agree about the air support. There's barely anything ever in the air which is such a refreshing change. The fact that the hunter killer takes out air support if you just randomly throw it in the sky makes all the difference too. People take out UAVs etc without even realising they are doing it.

The only problem I've had with the online is that sometimes the connection seems bloody unfair. It's not often, but some games it will take loads of bullets to kill people rather than just a few like it does other times. You can tell it's lag cos in combat training it's perfect.

All I can say is PS3 players must be crap because from what I've played of multiplayer it feels like a IW CoD to me.

I don't know the names of the scorestreaks yet but I've been in games where the sky is raining I guess missiles or mortars, not to mention the game is still as camper friendly as ever, it does feel better to play though.

I guess we can just never go back to what it used to be.

You can try to take the bitch out of the game but you can't take the bitch out of the bitch.

Never has a truer word been spoken, Reeg should know who said that.

I'm going to try 'League Play' later, it supposedly pairs you up with similarly skilled players.

Multi-Team is great Reegee, you go into 3 teams of 3, if you see me on mate join me and Riley if you want as she's mint at the Hard point mode.

I'm finding it less camper friendly though in terms of perks, score streak points and less focus on K/D's as well. Campers get nowhere now.

Couldn't agree more, and I will join you if I ever get on at a reasonable time  . I'm mostly on early evening or the middle of the night now mate.

Only thing I would change is I think having the war machine and that chain gun thing as only running out once you've run out of ammo is a bit too much. Especially the war machine as it is basically a Noob Tube with a s**t load of ammo.

@Dodo- I think the difference for me has been that, yeah, you get your airborne killstreaks, but most are over pretty quick and they are easy to shoot down. The worst thing MW2 did was have helicopters constantly in the air ALL game.

I also have to say that even though I'm not very far, the campaign is actually beginning to get pretty good. I didn't understand the strike force missions at first, but I'm getting it now. Freshens it up a bit. They're kind of like the Cerberus missions on ME3.
