The Walking Dead - BIG MASSIVE CRAZY SPOILERS IN HERE

Postby gippobeater » 25 Apr 2012, 15:21

Anyone play the first episode? Any good?

Will turn on the ps3 and download it tonight to see if I like it or not. Don't see it on the Xbox anywhere.

XBox hasn't got a release date supposedly.

El Mag says there's a ten minute demo of the first episode.

It's clearly for move controls, but it works well with a controller. For point & click fans.

The Walking Dead discussion thread - FULL FAT SPOILERS!

Postby jim2wheels » 27 Apr 2012, 13:05

So, who did you save on the farm and in the pharmacy?

I picked Duck (the young lad) over Hershel's lad, in the pharmacy I chose Carla over the dorky bloke whose name I've forgotten.

I got saved by Ducks dad when the pharmacy got overrun, I'm pretty sure that was because of my loyalty towards him at the farm and when he argued with the old man in the pharmacy. Carla also saved me at somepoint too. I'd be interested to see if anyone had a different saviour at any point.

I wanted a spoiler one to discuss the game plot etc. That one can be used by those undecided on whether to buy it or not.

Depressing isn't it?

I'll cut and paste into yours if you want to put a spoiler alert in the title?

I saved Duck on the farm and Carly in the pharmacy, Doug was a good guy but I felt Carly would be more useful come the end.

I'm shocked at, El Slag, he let that poor boy due on the farm.

I think the end game stats said the split was 54-46 in favour of the lad. Whereas Carla was 74-26. Poor Doug, never had a chance.

I saved Doug, that bitch knew that Lee killed the guy who was sleeping with his wife. Couldn't have her spilling the beans down the line. :P I saved the boy and gave the slag the gun to shoot herself.

You've no compassion, Gippo. :P

I thought Doug was useless, nothing to be gained. The old man knows who you are and what you've done so it made no sense to let Carla die based on her knowledge of Lee

I gave the nutter the gun too. I thought about doing it for her to show some steel, thought better of it.

She was going to turn anyways, I put her out of her misery.

Didn't know the old guy knew about me at the time, he only tells you that at the end. Probably would have saved her if I had known that! Still though, Doug will come good in the end, he'll die saving me and i'll realize I made the right call. Less bitches all up in my grill the better.
