:) Oh definitely not mate, never have been.

I've not given up yet though. I've been going back to it and just not allowing myself to get too p**sed off (Ie when I die a couple of times I'll just play something else rather than just insisting on making the same mistake over and over again :D ). It's a strategy that's working well, and touch wood, the frustrations only really seem to be at the start of the game for me when you are so weak. Now I'm leveled up a bit with the enhancements and that I'm finding it's all making much more sense to me.

We'll see. I'm getting there slowly but surely. I'm into China after that horrendous first boss (Which ended up being a piece of p**s) and I've been getting into it much more now.

*Waits for inevitable BIP comment again* :P

Only been playing it for a few hours but i'm not liking Need For Speed Most Wanted.

The handling is heavy and feels off, there aren't enough events involving the police, it's way too easy to miss a turn during a race, don't like the confusing menu layout and driving around looking for jack spots is just tedious. Oh and being an EA game it of course has online problems, Autolog (which this game is built around) keeps randomly disconnecting. Reading around it's affecting both PS3 and 360 versions.
Here's a lockpick, now jog on.

I was really looking forward to this but when I heard that Criterion had apparently said its a sequel to Burnout Paradise I was immediately put off. BP wasn't a terrible game but it just never felt like a true burnout game. The crash junctions were shocking and races just felt like a stop and start process, constantly pausing to check the map for my route.

Glad you posted, Baz. I might pick it up if I see it for £15 or just stick with Hot Pursuit and buy the dlc packs.

The actual multi player was a confusing mess as well. It put me in a free roam lobby where nobody picked a proper game mode and just kept crashing into each other for takedowns.

Really disappointed by it.

Been having a completely different experience with Most Wanted.

It's Burnout Paradise fixed, all that needs to be said. Don't have to look at your map all the time, there's a line on your mini map that shows you where you're heading and then you pick your own short cuts if you want. Multiplayer is great too, exactly like Burnout Paradise except the Challenges are mixed up with the races.

Best driving game since Hot Pursuit, and definitely the best open world racer i've played.

Did I balls, it's huge! Think I got 300gamerscore on it. I just explored and s**t and eventually called it a day before finishing the story quests. I just like having it there as something I can always get back into when I want.
