You seen nothing of the PiSs3 yet, and your already proclaiming it be better than the 360.

Not sure what interest a statistician would have in looking at the specs of a games console, apart from the fact that it has loads of nice numbers in it. :P

I'm not sure what interest a gamer would have in the specs either. They don't interest me in the slightest.

Agreed, as long as it works well, the games are good and they look good then who cares about these meaningless (to me at least) specs. The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating and until we get to munch on some ps3 goodness, then we don't know whether its any good or not.

And I'm not a 'statto' :x , I'm just a pedantic bugger. :D

Depending on the release date, thinking pre-order multiple PS3, desperate parents, ebay = profits...

personally, I think I'm going with the 360. I was going to wait to compare the two systems, but with Sony waiting so long to push their propriatary blu ray, I think I'll get a 360, play some retro titles I haven't played (halo, HL2), and wait until Sony gets its stuff together ( which will be at least a year and a half from now) and then maybe give Sony some consideration. (while I'm online playing games and watching HD dvd's)

I was at the store tonight at it looks like they're gearing up for putting out a lot of systems, and I'm getting the itch....

Like everyone else, I still have that question: Will PS3 be better, or is it all the same silicon?

Also: How many more bugs will the 360 have?

but like everyone else on here, I just want one, and I can always sell it.
