PSM3 Current Issue: Views...

Postby fatchins » 22 Sep 2007, 13:18

Just got the new issue through the post, and it's great. The ratchet review is a must see, and makes want a PS3 sooooo bad. What do other people think of the new issue?

Fatchins, I've just changed the title on this thread. It can be used to voice opinions on the 'current' issue, rather than individual issues per se.

No. Like Vegito, I'm not a subscriber either as of yet (although, I have been a 'collector' since Issue 17 - I think that one had Snake on the front, from memory?), that's gonna change soon tho... :)

You don't have fat chins... LIAR!
Anyway, I was annoyed by 2 things in this issue. 1) The reviews were almost all cut down to like two paragraphs worth and 2) I said on MySpace that Tom Cruise would be rubbish as Snake first!!! And I said it would be because he was too short! Grr! But the Folklore review confirmed my fears for that game. I won't get it now. But for the sake of just knowing, did they have voice-acting in-game? On the demo it was all just text but did they actually speak in the real game? Oh, and Locoroco Cocorecho isn't free on UK or American stores. Oh well, it was alright I suppose though, but definitely not the best.

Raven wasn't black and Tom Cruise would suck as Snake. He's too short, wimpy and wet. He couldn't get the voice as his isn't rough enough. What about Sniper Wolf? If we're assuming they do the first one. Or even Otacon? Oh, Otacon could be great if they get the right person to do it!

I think Psycho Mantis will have to be CGI because only Nicole Richie is that skinny. I think Vin Diesel could be a pretty good Vulcan Raven.

Who would play Johnny Sasaki the comical relief for MGS?

I think if it is starting off with Metal Gear Solid Kurt Russel should play a minour role as Big Boss since he is really too old to play young snake. Kojima expressed interest in actor Viggo Mortensen as a candidate to portray Solid Snake.
