A lot of people said how disappointing AvP was. It's annoying how reviews give it 90%, reviews can be so very wrong. I don't really trust them anymore.

I recently got Ninja Gaiden 2 for £15 and I love it, I cant believe that this game didnt sell too well.
The combat feels fluid and satisfying and playing as Ryu makes me feel like a God!
I would definitely recommend it but would warn about the steep learning curve, it can be tough!

I also pre-ordered Bad Company 2 yesterday for £29.98 off Amazon so I'll be playing that next. :D

I don't know, I found Ninja Gaiden 2 to be quite repetitive. I mean the combat system is fantastic: it's very tight and split-second responsive and I like the emphasis on blocking because not many other titles in the genre are like that but many of the enemies can be taken down all too similarly, not like a Bayonetta. Still, a good game.

Not sure what I'll buy next. I'm going through all the modes on the Max Payne games on PC, completing the enjoyable single-player in Resi 5 and training with a couple characters in Soul Calibur IV, prepping myself to get good when I go online with it.

That should do me for now.

Just got Super Street Fighter IV, but the next game(s), I'll be getting are Red Dead Redemption and Modnation Racers. Beyond that I will be getting Demon Souls and I still have to get God of War 3, Bayonetta and Heavy Rain, eventually. I'll have a lot of games to keep me busy over the 'summer drought'.

I can't see there being a drought this year. I can't believe there's so much being released in the coming weeks. It's like there's an AAA title being released every week. Hey, I'm not complaining.

Modnation Racers looks like a good call. I'd love to make all kinds of levels or circuits (whatever you want to call them) with themes from different bands or something.

Has anyone played the Beta? I'd like to know if there's a limit to how much track you can lay down. Otherwise, I can't see people not replicating things like Nürburgring or Laguna Seca.

I haven't played Bayonetta you see so I don't know how that plays but I can see where you're coming from Randy, using the OT is repetitive but it still feels very satisfying.
I would say bosses like the buddha and statue of Liberty are a little too similiar in terms of how to defeat them.

I will be getting Red Dead Redemption on release too I think.

I played the 360 version when it came out but didn't have the effort to finish it. I know the statue boss was new to the PS3 version but needless to say, the Sixaxis 'abilities' didn't make me want to revisit it.

I've narrowed my next purchase down to two games. I can only buy one so it's either MAG or (one I've delayed for ages) Assassin's Creed 2 - both around £25 in Gamestation. The God of War Collection is also that price but I'll buy that with GoW3 as well.

Any advice?

It depends whether you prefer online or Solo play Randy, If you're after a long, absorbing storyline with great combat and enjoyable free roaming gameplay then I'd go for AC2.
If not then I'd go for the so so online FPS, it's no better than MW2 in my opinion though.

Just picked up Borderlands. Visuals are nice but it gives me a headache. The guns are an interesting gimmick which has quickly grown old as the random spawning keeps handing out the same crappy rifles again and again. The plot is thin on the ground to say the least. But, I'm still really enjoying myself!

Everyone's told me it's like a poor man's Fallout 3 so i've been put off this a little even though it interested me, would you recommend it Agent?

I shall be buying FIFA 11 next, need a new season footy fix!

Probably FIFA then PES, loved the demo for PES so that's definitely my number one choice but I'm still interested in FIFA, here's hoping it goes cheap on release like the last year.

Definitely! It's got it's flaws but I'm really getting into it! A teeny bit of grind is required for the harder boss' but yeah I strongly recommend you get yourself a copy :)
