:?

Less than ten that a purist would call RPG's:

Two Worlds
Risen
Gothica
The one with the citadels
and Dragon's Dogma

The rest just have certain features that RPG's have.

EDIT:

Oh yes and the Bethesda stuff but that's so popular that it wouldn't count in the sort of comparison we're discussing.

Mass Effect, The Witcher, Skyrim, Fable, Lost Odyssey, Dark Souls, Tales, Dragons Age, Final Fantasy etc?

I would say that Dragon Age is too linear to be a true RPG and that applies to a lot of the Japanese one as well as the fact that they don't show any equipment that you might pick up and use. The PS3 has a lot more RPG's and that's what they're talking about I think.

I didn't think Dragon Age was linear at all, a lot less linear then the likes of most JRPG's and a little more structured than the likes of Skyrim.

Because people liking a game means it can't be an RPG????

So what are all these RPGs on the PS3 then because there's been quite a few on 360 like Blue Dragon etc because MS have tried to break into japan.

I distrust patriotism; the reasonable man can find little in these days that is worth dying for. But dying against - there's enough iniquity in Europe to carry the most urbane or decadent into battle.

Well, without generalising too much I'd have to say the PS3 is definitely the gentleman's choice.

Think about it...Japanese technology vs American burgerology! Need I say more!
Do not underestimate the power of Playstation...

maybe thats why "ps vita" is listed as one of c&vg's "top games" on the mainpage sidepanel because its just so artistic even if it has no actual games worth playing on it
