I was next to fall on Dodolok's sword, or rather his shoryuken.

First two games were tight as f**k, each winning one by the slimmest of margins. Then I kinda just rolled over and Dodolok won the next two without breaking a sweat. Next time I'm going to play you in the evenings you dirty scamp. I managed to save face by winning the last game but I'm a little p**sed off that I caved so easily mid way.

Good games though and I think it's fair to say the best player won, Doddy has a combo for every occasion, he's a very skilled player, adept at many characters.

So the results:

Jive 2 - 3 Dodolok

Jive (T.Hawk) 1 - 2 (Ryu) Dod
Jive (T.Hawk) 2 - 1 (Ryu) Dod
Jive (T.Hawk) 0 - 2 (Ryu) Dod
Jive (T.Hawk) 0 - 2 (Ryu) Dod
Jive (T.Hawk) 2 - 1 (Ryu) Dod

I just have 2 fights left to be the first to complete. I wonder if Dodolok & / or Ore No Koketsu will be around anytime this weekend...? Dare to face my mighty Dan!

Yeah, I don't really play as Dan, that was just some tricksy gamemanship on my behalf... or was it...?

League Game Result

EZT SDDowns 3-2 Ore No Koketsu

It broke down like this:
EZT SDDowns - Ore No Koketsu
M. Bison 2 - 1 Guy
M. Bison 2 - 0 Ryu
M. Bison 2 - 0 Chun Li
M. Bison 0 - 2 Guile
Chun Li 1 - 2 Guile

I think maybe the dual effect of Ore No Koketsu being grateful for me giving him a 48 hour gold code and catching him cold contributed to me managing to beat him. Once he was warmed up he was easily able to beat my Bison but having got in there early with my 2 dimensional tactics that he hadn't played against before I managed to pull off a victory against him. Watch me shoot up the league table overtaking all you people who've only played one match :D

Look out dodoLok you're the last person on my hit list 8)

I am right in thinking I get extra points for finishing all my games first aren't I? It's what I am pinning my hopes on. May I suggest an extra 10 points for finishing first, seems fair to me

A remarkable victory since we had an endless session last night and Koketsu was a good Guy player.

Oh, ya, hi I'm Desaima (unstressed 'i'); same name for XBL. My connection can be shaky, so I have doubts about joining your league if it means some matches will be borderline unplayable on a few nights. It's often fine, but you'd know when it isn't.

I consider myself a squarely intermediate Rufus player, if that's any measure.

...in an endless battle room with me jive hound, combi, hanzo, Ore No, etc etc last night he managed an 8 win streak with his "squarely intermediate Rufus"... me thinks the man puts himself down a bit.

I don't mind adding you if you wanna give it a try. I'm sure the connection between us will be the worst as I'm in Canada but I'm willing to give it a go if you want in.

I'll update the table with the last two matches later when I get home. Been working/knackered a lot recently but should be on over the weekend if anyone I need to play is around.

League Game Result

JedHawk 4 - 1 kitsuneyo

Honda 1 - 2 Ken
Guile 2 - 0 Ken
Guile 2 - 0 Honda
Guile 2 - 0 Ken
Guile 2 - 0 Ibuki

After a brilliant win in the first game, I foolishly started thinking I was in with a shout. JH then switched to Guile and never got the opportunity to switch back. Good games though :)

Dodolok 5 - 0 kitsuneyo

Ryu 2 - 0 Ken
Ryu 2 - 0 Ibuki
Ryu 2 - 0 Honda
Ryu 2 - 0 Ken
Ryu 2 - 0 Ibuki

Complete demolition

EDIT - scores corrected

Yeah, That Ryu is evil. Except, it wears white.

Our matches, Kitsuneyo, were good, definitely. Your win over my Honda was 2-1 in your favour, while the next match Guile vs Ken was 2-0 in my favour. The last three battles were as you recorded.

You prevented my Honda from being damaging and got lots of SHORYUKENs in on me... Flamed Sumo.

Interesting stat: Ken vs Honda was the first match-up where both characters wore yellow.
My Guile was able to stay solid, although I will announce before getting slated that I didn't spam sonic booms. I managed to go on the offensive with other attacks, and then use the occasional sonic boom/ex boom when required :p
Good matches, though.

All who haven't faced me yet... if you are better than me, then you must ph34r my secret weapon.

Not sure how interesting that stat is! I always pick yellow Ken though, it reminds me of Alpha 3 :)

Will have to practice my Ibuki on you again sometime.

And yeah, your Guile was one of the less spammy ones I've come across :)

W00T! Check me out on the league table, jumping from 12th to 7th place after winning my last match and the longer you guys don't fight each other the longer I can stay there 8)

Also I see we have a new challenger, welcome Desaima I look forward to being raped by your Rufus in our league games

While you may praise my Rufus play, our session with PlusOne 86 last night showed how in fact I am squarely intermediate; his combos were as fluent as they were solid; his frame traps were perfectly done; my reliance on EX Messiah; his consistent patience with blocking; his grasp of yomi uncanny. I have most things in place, but need to refine them to the level that player has.
Basically, his playing is a standard I aspire to!

I read a CVG article today saying the super street fighter 4 dlc had been taken down but upon launching my xbox everything is currently down... no films, music, game downloads at all. Says I can still communicate and play games online though...
