F.A Cup 4th round day.

Postby rbt2 » 02 Jan 2013, 22:15

I love the third round of The F.A Cup.
I have loved it ever since I was a little boy.
You build all your dreams up in the hope that this just might be your season if you have a good run and Wemberlee could be waiting for you come May.
So do you love it?
And who have your club got and what do you reckon are their chances of proggressing to the fourth round?
We have Stoke and I am very interested to see how we measure up given our current form.
They're a good side to get too as they know this is probably their only chance for silverware.
Good side though.

I dislike the FA Cup, only good thing about it is watching non-league sides take on PL teams.

It ideally needs restructuring to reinvigorate it, scrap the pointless replays, scrap having the semis at Wembley (especially when it's 2 northern sides) and scrap the League Cup to give the FA Cup greater meaning and worth.

Obviously neither of my teams are in it but I will be hoping Mansfield don't get annihilated by Liverpool. Don't know who County or Forest have but I hope they both progress.

I to think they should get rid of Wembley semi finals and replays, and the FA should push for the einners to receive a Champions league spot. That'll get the big clubs giving it the respect it deserves.

I think the fa cup is the best non-international cup going and seeing the non-league minnows taking on the big boys is great. Leicester have got Burton and we owe them one (or four). I hope both notts teams lose, along with derby and Cov.
Loving LCFC's surge to the top.

Bah humbug to the lot of you, the FA Cup is one of the most exciting cups in football, could easily watch it all weekend.

We've got Watford at home so I am expecting us to win but this being the FA Cup anything could happen. Sadly I'm not going to the game, bought a ticket and everything but I have to work.

I think that's a great shout. Surely winning the FA Cup is more deserving of a Champions League spot than finishing fourth in the League?!

As much as I hate to disagree with you both I'm gonna have to.
Finishing fourth in the top flight must be a tougher job than reaching and winning a final after only having to play 7 games, I think, providing you came in at the 3rd round stage.
I would rather the champs league reverted to the european cup when that was a knockout comp meself.

I tried getting a ticket for the Stags game but had no luck.

Well I say tried, I actually mean saw the rain and massive queue and f**ked off to Burger King instead.

Yeah but this was that fine rain. Not heavy enough to drown you but enough to leave you soggy, innit bruv.

I've never seen so many at the ground, there was at least 30. Not one f**ker would cuddle me under their brolly though selfish bastards.

You phone up to order your chippy you soft southern fairy! So you wouldn't stand in the rain for an hour after spending the last 16 hours down the pit for ten bob a week neither!
