For a Single Player preview, you sure did devote literally half the article to Multiplayer, well done Cvg!
I must say though this is the first ever preview I ever read that seems very truthful about the game. Pretty much every other preview I've read over the years praised which game it was up, and neglects to mention the bad points and flaws of the given game, maybe because they were hoping it would be fixed before release, which with gameplay flaws they generally aren't. This preview reads more like a review, which is good and is what I want from a preview, after all it is a glimpse of what is to come.
I must say though it has got me worried about the state of this game. I expected a dramatic event for the first time you see the Alien, like in all the games before it or the films. The fact the environments don't seem very large isn't as big a concern as the game is based off the movie where most of it was inside buildings and narrow corridors, however, it seems as if its based so strongly on the movie that all imagination and artistic licence exploration has been lost in the translation from the way this reads. This is a game after all, not a movie and should be treated as such while retaining the atmosphere of the film. The most recent Avp got it right for me, with a good mixture of environments that suited the source material (it was also a great game to boot that I throughouly enjoyed despite the ridiculously harsh critism it received for no reason). I'm also a bit confused about the graphics comment, because in every video I've seen so far they look great, but you guys reconned they weren't that good?
I'll be getting it anyway, no matter how it turns out. I love the films, and preordered my Collectors Edition months ago. I'm still really looking forward to it, but please Cvg, give us more honest previews like this one.
