Gotta be honest it don't really look like the sorta next gen' footie game i envisaged. It plays a good game though but when i took it for a whirl online it was a laggy, stuttering mess. I know their trying to fix it so i'm happy enough to wait. It does feel great to have Pro Evo again.

PES2008 on PS3 a F*****ng JOKE!

Postby User removed » 26 Oct 2007, 16:29

Hi guys I got the game yesterday and I felt like the first poster, I nearly cried. I brought teh Ps3 for teh sole intention of this game but I cant belive the software developers brought the game out knowing that ther were going to be problems. I mean reputation is everything so how can a worldwide organistaion like Konami bring out a flwed game. Honest to God the game feels like something from the lates 90's and i must admit I would rather play pro6 on my ps2 then this. If only i could retrun the ps3 coz I think that developers for some reason are finding it very difficult creating game for this platform. Anyway i have managed to ask the retailer for a full refund to which they have agreed and will be getting my £40 back. I may just buy pro for th ps2 instead!

nah....!! mines awful! this is soo poor.. do not

WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS GAME on PS3!!!!!!

OMFG!!!!!!!! how has a shite game like FIFA came up with a better game?! Konami what has happened?!

No one should settle for this.. this is really bad, and im not JUST talking about really poor slow down. the whole thing reminds me of "This is football" more than
Pro Evo.

the games class - theres nothing wrong with it. If i wanted it to look pretty i would of got fifa.

It's just the slowdown that is causing people so many problems - Especially on SCART

What really pees me off is that both Game and Gamestation are charging an extra tenner for the PS3 version. Why ??? It's the same friggin game!!!!!
Ended up getting it from Argos for 40 quid... Not exactly the definitive version we were all promised though. Lets hope this patch sorts out all the slow down issues then we might end up with the game we all know is under there somewhere...

Message for KONAMI..........

Postby deano_p33 » 26 Oct 2007, 23:13

Konami have condemned us to hell... we have to play fifa for a whole year!

what did we do to you Konami?! every copy from day one
from the Nintendo days of ISS (when you could flick it over you're head! and flip a coin and choose ends..) right up to the present!!.

(IF IT'S NOT FINISHED DONT BRING IT OUT! IT's WORSE TO BRING OUT AN UNFINISHED GAME THAN DELAY ONE.)

blu-ray costs more than standard + it costs more to make for the PS3 than it does the 360 - even if they just copy the code and f**k it up like they have done

I thought it was a bit dodgy when Seabass was going on about all the great features he was going to implement in next year's game - before this one came out. Allegedly next years version will recieve a massive overhaul. I think this year's version is a lazy cash-in no matter what format its on. I'll be sticking to PES 6 on my PS2 until there is a proper next gen Pro Evo game thanks Konami.
I'm still great and you're still a smelly tosser
