Just read issue 94 of the comic. My thoughts:

I was expecting more. I know it's a larger story arc and Kirkman needs to stretch it out a bit, but I expected more than "we drove the way and we learned that we need to trust each other". The best part of the issue was the last panel imo, because the hilltop town they built up looks like something straight out of the Middle Ages and it's completely feasible that that's something people would set up if they had to. But now it's time to wait another month until something substantial starts happening.

Walking dead suits trade formats far better than monthlies. I really enjoyed this issue mainly for the same reason you outlined but also the promise of what this new arc brings. How long you been reading? You know this is pretty consistent for kirkman eh?

During cory walkers initial start on invincible the gaps between comics was legendary. The gap for issue 74 - 75 was nearly 5 months and that was with ottley doing the art!

Did you try any of my suggestions yet?

There were 11000 gun related homicides in America in 2008, Japan had 6 gun related deaths in the same year. Does anyone know if they play videogames in Japan?

Just watched the newest episode, I love how they have completely deviated from the comic. Really good episode with a nice surprise, even for the comic veterans.

I loved the first season. I really enjoy any show like this, to be honest.

I loved Lost and am even watching Terra Nova now.

Looking forward to this.

POTENTIAL SPOILER IN THIS POST

Ooft!

That kind of came out of nowhere!

Ive noticed that the more we delve into the characters of those involved, i'm starting to dislike so many of them more and more.

Having not read the comics I have no idea of what to expect, but did Dale really have to die?

Now they really are fecked!

Christ! With him gone there is no longer a strong voice of reason, its pretty much going to come down to Rick and Shane and which side everyone is gonna choose. Well thats my theory, anyhoos.

Its starting to get rather interesting.

Your words are like landmines to my eyes!!
Skimmed through the last posts fast as to not read any potential spoilers.

The last episode I've seen was 11. Is that where everyone else is; or are you all watching the yank, future episodes early?

No idea what actual Episode i'm on? After the mid season break, I found it hard to know what everyone was talking about.

I watched the most recent episode which was shown on FX on Friday night. I watched it on Saturday morning hungover to Hell with the lights off and the blinds closed. The perfect way to watch this show!

You're on episode 11 too, judging by what you wrote earlier.

I'm quite enjoying this series, better than series 1 imo.

What episode are the yanks up to? (EDIT: Doesn't matter, read they're only 1 episode ahead of us)

Episode 12 was on last night. It's not that much further in front, at all.

Anyone got any idea how many programmes are left in this run?

Are we nearing the end, or is there still a bit to go?
