For me the best roast potatoes have been cooked with garlic and rosemary. Not just the same otherwise.
I hold roasties in such high esteem they are saved until last generally. i had broccoli, carrot and swede mash, and homemade ratatouille with mine, oh and couple of cheeky yorkies and homemade stuffing balls. somehow the pork was a bit s**t though. Mrs Shellster is an excellent cook but she took her eyes off the ball there.
