It actually rained here and has got rid of 50% of the snow...in fact all that's really left is all the thick layers of ice that has built from all last weeks snow!

I don't think I've ever seen anything like the rain we had yesterday. It was absolutely torrential all bleedin day! Driving through the patches of flooding was.... interesting, last night.

One of my lads never made it to work today because of the snow.... Yet a lad who lives on the same street managed to make it to work fine. I even told him to order a taxi to work and I'll pay the costs yet he made no effort to do such a thing. To say I was fuming is an understatement, I doubt I'll be keeping him on, especially with him letting me down yesterday too.

Its any excuse now days mate, if i had my way anyone living in a major city would be sacked if they didnt make it to work. In my opinion, if i can make it they can make it. It wouldnt matter if they came in late as long as they made the effort.

I wouldn't get away with giving him a note from my mum saying I had the s**ts, forgot my PE kit and had a runny nose there then.

It p**sed down raining last night and the snow here is finally f**king off, rejoice!

Slightly off topic, i won a 12 Gig PS3 super slim in work the other day, i already have the slim, which would you guys keep? And which would you sell on? Was just going to take the hard drive out of the slim and swap it with the super slim.

Or am i making a mistake?

I'd keep the slim. The new one supposedly looks and feels cheap up close and makes more noise reading discs.

Yeah, and you'd get more for a brand new one still in the box. And it'd save you the trouble of switching the hard drives.

We had a ten minute flurry earlier.
Childhood pictures redeem, clean and so serene
See myself without ruining lines
Whole days throwing sticks into streams

I have crawled so far sideways
I recognise dim traces of creation

Well it's snowing in the channel, I blame the french.
Some say he's half man, half fish. Others say its more of a 70/30 split. Whatever the percentage, he's one fishy bastard.

Had a fair bit through the night but the sun is killing it now.

Thank the lord for global warming.

Surprised you northern chappys haven't had much cos it's about 3 inches deep here and still coming down.
And it's windy so there's a bit of drifting.

I woke up to find a good dollop of snow outside. Managed to get the car drifting quite nicely along this lane by the golf course. Had to be in Milton Keynes for 8.30 and they had no snow whatsoever. Got back on the motorway and as i was about to leave J20 M1 there was a snowstorm and it's still coming down. Mrs Shellster reliably informs me it's still snowing at home.

Not quite enough for a snowman though. Bah. I love the snow. Not yellow snow though, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Loving LCFC's surge to the top.
