RIP Jack Duckworth

Postby Samildanach » 10 Nov 2012, 01:00

So, Bill Tarmey has died. I don't usually watch soaps, but I always liked when I did that Jack and Vera were on Coronation Street. Lots of characters get legendary status, but none deserve it more than Jack Duckworth:The Pigeon King!

RIP, like Sam I don't generally watch soaps but Jack and Vera brought something a bit special to the screen.
Childhood pictures redeem, clean and so serene
See myself without ruining lines
Whole days throwing sticks into streams

I have crawled so far sideways
I recognise dim traces of creation

What a bunch of c**ts!!!! :x

Bill Tarmey is akin to Clint Eastwood of the soap world!! I demand you all pay your respects!! Even as northern as he was, if RBT was here or finished his holiers, he'd pay his respects!! Heathens!

As with sonar, the big problem with detection is interpreting the returning signals.

Jack was/is a corrie legend and I don't watch the show all that much. Very sad news indeed.
